Up and running, and a story about jeans

Looks like my photos are back up! Darn you Photobucket and your unreliable photo hosting! Anyway, see these jeans I am wearing in these pictures? These are special jeans. I'll tell you why they are special...because they were $7.00, also they are Lucky Brand, but that's beside the point, the point is they were 7 dollars!!! Unreal right?

So one day I was minding my own business several months ago in a Down East Outfitters, and I was just browsing the clearance jean rack. Usually I never find anything good on clearance there because all their good deal designer jeans are unspeakable sizes, like 24. No one ever buys the 24's. But this happy day these caught my eye. Could it be? Clearance jeans in my size???? Could it be for only $7.00??? Could they possibly fit????

All of those were answered with a yes, yes, and no. They were my size technically, they were SUPER cheap, but they did not fit. They didn't fit cause I still had the lovely mommy tire positioned firmly around my waist. You mommies out there know what I'm talking about. But regardless I still bought them for good measure, hoping and crossing my fingers that a couple months down the road I could finally squeeze into them.

Today was that day. I squeezed into them, and squeeze I did. It took at least 5 minutes of lunges around the house, and crotch loosening squats, but victory was mine!!!

So all in all I would say this was 7 dollars well spent.
